ASCLS - Idaho Focus


Brooke McCuskey recently accepted the position as ASCLS Idaho's New Professional Chair. She is a 2008 graduate of Idaho State University's CLS program where she achieved the distinction of being the only person in her class to graduate with high honors. She is also an active member in Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Having done cancer research in the past, Brooke is a 2008 Cancer for College Scholarship recipient for the North West Region. Brooke also holds a degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Boise State University in 2001. While she is a new Med Tech, Brooke has been working in labs in the Boise area for about six years, having most recently been a Microbiologist at the State Lab. She is excited to use her expertise in a more direct role in patient care at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center where she is currently a Medical Technologist 1.
